What is PTO?

The St. Teresa Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is comprised of dedicated parents and teachers whose common goal is to enhance the education of every child at St. Teresa School. The organization fosters communication and cooperation between families and school. It promotes the welfare of our children by creating a greater appreciation of Catholic Education. The PTO provides a labor pool of volunteers to assist at school, for the teachers’ use, library, or wherever a need arises. Through the efforts of the volunteers, PTO provides many “extras” for the children.

Tiger Dollars

PTO’s Tiger Dollars program is a fund-raising program that practically any family can participate in.  This is how it works.  PTO buys gift cards from various organizations at a discount and then sells the cards to you at their full face value.  That discount, which averages 8%, is revenue for PTO.  And the card you purchased is worth the full face value at the merchant. A PTO representative sells Tiger Dollars cards after most weekend masses in the church lobby.  You may also purchase Tiger Dollars cards by printing and completing the order form on this page and sending it into the school.  Please contact Mrs. Mary Ellen Ache if you have any questions about this program.  Click the link for the order form: Tiger Dollar Gift Card Order Form
