Tuition and Tuition Assistance 

 

Registration
2017/2018

Dear School Families,

Registration will begin Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Open House.  As has been explained in previous years, opening registration early provides a clearer picture of our staffing needs for the following school year.  Having an accurate picture of next school year’s enrollment will be beneficial in assessing the potential changes in educational needs and will allow us to maximize the use of our resources.

In regards to class make-up, we have open enrollment through May 15th.  If on May 15 we have sufficient students to split the class we will do so.  We will continue to take students for a class that is not full until school begins (if there is room in the class).  All current students will be accepted providing they are registered by May 15; after May 15 it is possible that we may not be able to accept students based on class sizes and make-up.

FACTS TUITION:
Once again we will be working with FACTS Tuition for the upcoming school year.  Families who currently have an account with FACTS will automatically be enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year.  For your continued flexibility, payments can be scheduled on either the 5th or 20th of the month.  If there are any changes to your payment method or the due date, please log on to the FACTS website and make those changes.  New families will be invited to set up an account via email after they have enrolled.  Families who pay tuition in full by either August 5th or August 20th will receive a 3% discount.  If you have any questions please contact Donna Thro, the business administrator, at 618-233-3500.

TECHNOLOGY/CURRICULUM FEES:
A $100 registration fee will be utilized again this year, and then subtracted from technology/curriculum fees upon payment of those fees.  This $100 fee will hold the spot of every child in a family, but will only be deducted from one of the technology/curriculum fees.  After a thorough assessment it has been determined that the Technology/Curriculum fees for the 2017/2018 school year will be $335 per student.

*****All final technology/curriculum fees are due on or before the first day of school.

TUITION:
Because St. Teresa Parish subsidizes the school up to 40% of its contributions/collections, the Non-Parishioner tuition rates are higher than the Parishioner rates.  If you are interested in joining St. Teresa Parish please contact Connie Crawford at 618-233-3500.  The rates listed below have been approved for the 2017-2018 school year:

Families wanting to be considered for 2017-2018 tuition assistance must complete the application process on the FACTS Tuition website by MAY 1, 2017

Please remember that registering early allows us the time needed to best prepare for next year, and thus create the best educational experience possible for our students.  Also, policy states that registrations made after May 15th will only be accepted if space is available per grade.  If a class is at a maximum number it has been determined that 5 more students will be needed in order to create a new class in that grade.
